All Civil and Environmental Engineering students are expected to complete the Writing Portfolio once they complete 60 semester credits. Students with a Post Secondary Enrollment Date before Fall 1991 or students seeking a second bachelor’s degree are exempt from this requirement.

Students who do not complete the Writing Portfolio examination the semester after completing 60 semester credits (generally the first term of their junior year), will have their registrations held during preregistration until they have completed the Portfolio.
